Bamboo Rafting is a breathtaking experience that allows travelers to enjoy every moment on this paradise island of Jamaica. Passengers are piloted on a 30-foot-long handmade bamboo raft slowly down the river, relaxing and listening to the birdsong around them. Treat yourself to a foot massage with limestone paste made from stones from the river bed. Hop on the ATV Off-Road Experience Jamaica, venture off the beaten path, and ride on the wild side.
Ride an ATV
As if you didn't have enough excitement for the day, you'll take a wild ride on a high-performance ATV and ride off-road through the picturesque landscape on rugged dirt trails. Go off the beaten path on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) vacation in Jamaica.
Conquer the Jamaican terrain on an ATV and discover other Jamaican gems in small villages hidden in the rainforest. Ride wild slopes on powerful ATVs, ride off-road through scenic landscapes, and venture deep into the picturesque Jamaican landscape on the rugged trails of a historic estate.
Take a ride on a handmade bamboo raft on the White River
A bamboo raft goes down the White River, which flows out of the cockpit and winds down to the sea in Ocho Rios. From the rafting rest, your captain will take you on a gentle one-hour bamboo ride through the lush vegetation.
- You can stop for a swim or buy drinks or handicrafts from some enterprising locals who have set up shop on the banks of the river. Young painters and not so young enjoy this journey.
- Rafting provides a peaceful and relaxing ride down the river on a bamboo raft under the guidance of an experienced raft captain. Here you will enjoy the beautiful waters of the White River as you float down the river on a 2-person bamboo raft and take in the breathtaking scenery.
- Stop in for a relaxing limestone foot massage, go for a swim, or relax and take in the sights and sounds of the tropical surroundings.
- Bring your camera and capture the fresh, beautiful scenery along the river. Afterward, drink a fresh coconut while your captain talks about the environment, the river, and the surroundings.

Pick-up for this adventure is available from most major hotels in the Montego Bay region, as well as from some Villas and Airbnbs. You will receive your pick-up time via email or telephone after you’ve completed your booking.

Important Information
- This experience requires good weather. In the event of a cancellation due to bad weather, you will be offered another date or a full refund.
- This experience requires a minimum number of passengers. If the tour is cancelled due to not meeting the minimum number of participants, you will be offered another date, experience, or a full refund.
- If you choose to drive an ATV on the ATV Bamboo River Rafting Jamaica tour, you must present a valid driver's license.
- A valid picture ID must be shown at check-in.
- Bring cash for locker rental, snacks, and souvenirs.
- This is a private tour or activity. Only your group will participate.
- Service animals are allowed.
Duration: 6 hours
A booking confirmation will be sent out via email 24 hours prior to your actual tour date. You might get a confirmation email sooner, depending on the volume of bookings.
Booking and Reservation Policy Via Zelle
All bookings or reservations should be paid 2 days in advance in order for your tours to be confirmed. Reservations made via Zelle will not be held without payment. If your reservation is not paid 2 days in advance, it will automatically be canceled. We recommend that you make the necessary payment in order to proceed with your booking.
Confirmation about Booking and Pick-up Time
A confirmation email containing a CONFIRMED PICK-UP TIME time will be sent to you via EMAIL/SMS the day before your actual tour. Please note that the time on the website estimates when the tours start.
Your confirmation email will show the correct time for all pick-ups. Please make sure to read your confirmation email. Please check your spam or junk mail section if you cannot find your confirmation email in your regular inbox.
Important Info about Tour Time and Pick-up Time
- Please note that the tour time and pickup time for our tours are not the same. We have specific pickup times for each tour, and these may vary depending on the tour you have booked and where you’re staying. When you make a booking, please ensure that you check the date, email address, and hotel/Airbnb to make sure they correct.
- To ensure that you have the most up-to-date information, we will send you a second confirmation email the day before your tour to confirm the exact pickup time. This will help you to plan your day and ensure that you arrive at the designated pickup location on time.
- In addition, we would like to remind you to read the description of all tours before you create a booking. This will help you to ensure that the tour you have selected meets your expectations and that you will be able to fully enjoy your experience with us.
Important Notice
- You have 5-minute grace period after your pick-up time to board the bus. Once this time has expired we will have no choice but to depart without you on board. Your tour time and pick up time is not the same, please be mindful of the time on your booking confirmation. We sending out all outdoor activities earlier than usual due to the weather conditions.

However, there are times when external factors beyond our control, such as inclement weather, traffic, or natural disasters, may disrupt our operations.
- In such uncertain circumstances, we kindly request your patience and understanding. We understand that unexpected delays or changes in schedule can be frustrating, but we assure you that your safety and satisfaction remain our top priorities.
- If there is a possibility of bad weather or severe traffic conditions that may impede our punctuality, we will make sure to inform you in advance. Likewise, if we need to reschedule a tour or alter our plans due to unfavorable weather conditions, we will promptly notify you and provide alternative options.
- Any cancellations made at least ninety-six (96) hours or more shall not attract a cancellation fee.
- Any cancellation made less than ninety-six (96) hours but more than seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the scheduled tour time will attract a fifty percent (50%) penalty.
- Any cancellation made within forty-eight (48) hours or on the same day of the scheduled tour will attract a one hundred percent (100%) penalty.
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Company and received by Unique Tours Jamaica within the timeframes outlined above to be eligible for a refund.
